Boating and Fishing Permits 

Boaters who want to enjoy recreation activities on local lakes must purchase a city boating permit and a state boating license.  Permits cost $5 per day or $25 per year.  Likewise, anglers ages 16-62 wishing to fish on area lakes and at the City’s “Close to Home” fishing waters must have a city fishing permit and a state fishing license.
