The Lake Overholser East Trail will be a scenic trail along the tree-shaded east shore of the City's oldest reservoir and will connect to the Hefner-Overholser Trail, connecting it to the 9.5-mile Lake Hefner trail.

The trail will also tie into the existing lake road that loops around Lake Overholser. It will connect with recreational areas around the lake.

Length: 2.5 miles

Parking Areas: Parking areas will be located on the east side of Lake Overholser.

Surface Type: Asphalt

Time Line: Construction should begin in mid 2003 and end by winter 2003.

Other Attractions: Lake Overholser offers picnic areas, fishing piers, a playground area and soccer fields.
