The Katy Trail will follow portions of an abandoned railroad through northeast Oklahoma City.

The north trailhead will be located at Deep Fork Creek near I-44 and Grand Blvd. The south trailhead will be located at Washington Park, NE 4 and High.

Length: 7.3 miles

Parking Areas: Parking areas will be located at Washington Park, Douglass Park and Lincoln Park.

Surface Type: Asphalt and concrete

Time Line: Construction should begin in 2006.

Other Attractions: Omniplex, Oklahoma City Zoo, Remington Park, Railroad Museum, Firefighters Museum, Lincoln Park Golf Course, Stewart Golf Course and National Softball Hall of Fame.
