The Office of Sustainability is responsible for enhancing the City’s energy efficiency efforts and promoting sustainability throughout the organization and the community. 

The office is funded through economic stimulus funds and grants. The office was established in 2009 and is staffed by two employees, a Sustainability Director and an energy manager.
