Transportation

Transportation projects are designed to meet Federal goals by investing in transportation and other infrastructure that will provide long-term economic benefits by resurfacing City streets, purchasing buses for mass transit and replacing lighting controls at City airports. The City has been awarded $30,226,844 for these projects.

The street resurfacing projects listed below are being funded with Recovery funds provided by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT).  Oklahoma City selected the project locations, and ODOT is responsible for managing the contracts, monitoring the work and providing the contractor payments. 

Will Rogers World Airport Airfield Lighting Components Upgrade

Upgrade edge lights and other lighting components for various taxiways and a primary runway.
