The Traffic Commission consists of nine commissioners; one from each ward, and one at-large.  The Mayor, with the consent of the city council, appoints the commissioners.  The traffic commissioners serve without compensation, and are not allowed to hold another office or be engaged in public employment.

 Traffic Commission Meeting Rules 

  • Traffic Commission meetings begin at 1:30 sharp. 

  • Please be seated by this time. 

  • If you are speaking on an item, arrive a few minutes early and see Cherry Dienz at the front of the room to receive a blue card. 

  • Fill out the required information and return it to Cherry Dienz. 

  • Each person must limit his or her speech to five minutes.
     

  • Deadline for an item to appear on the next month's agenda must be received by the 2nd to the last Friday of the current month.
