The City of Oklahoma City participates in the National Flood Insurance Program. The Public Works Department is the repository for the official Flood Insurance Rate Maps within the city limits of Oklahoma City. All flood zones, as established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), are shown on these maps.

A legal description of the property and address, if available, is necessary to determine if a property is in a designated flood zone. There is a $25.00 fee for a flood zone determination and/or an 8 1/2" x 11" copy of the flood map, or an individual can review the maps in the Engineering Department 7th Floor.
