Storm Water Quality - Public Outreach

 Public Outreach

 City of Oklahoma City

The Storm Water Quality Public Outreach program includes a number of different elements reflecting the wide variety of water quality-related programs supported by the City. Workshops are held regularly to promote Best Management Practices (BMPs) to reduce pollution runoff into the community waterways.  BMP workshops address construction projects, industrial businesses, and homeowners.  SWQ also provides school and volunteer programs including School Smart, Adopt-A-City-Street, Adopt-A-Creek and Curbs-to-Creeks.  In addition, SWQ actively participates in  environmental events such as EarthDay, H2O Oklahoma and A Growing Affair-A Summer Festival in the Park.
