The planOKC has kicked-off!
The public was invited to an introductory meeting on May 6. At the meeting we introduced you to planOKC, described ways you can get involved in the planning process and discussed how we can work together to create a healthy and sustainable community.

What is planOKC?
planOKC is Oklahoma City’s long-range plan to ensure a healthy environment, community, and economy for its residents.
Why should I care about planokc?
Because the decisions we make today affect the choices we will have in the future about places to live, work and play.
How can I participate in planokc?
- Join a Citizen Stakeholder Group. Meetings begin in October and will meet once per month for about two hours. There will be one group per element, and an additional one called the Healthy Communities Oversight Committee. Use the feedback form to let us know which one(s) you would like to join.

There are more ways to participate in the planning process coming up, so stay tuned. The quality of our long-range plan depends on input and opinions from people like you who care about Oklahoma City’s future. planOKC will serve the City for the next 20 years, so your opinion counts.
