and over multiple opportunities to take part in a variety of individual and
group activities throughout June, July and August.
Art Explorers Camp - Weekly Sessions June 7 - August 6

"Hooked on Fishing" Youth Fishing Clinics Anglers 5-15 love our FREE fishing clinics held at area "Close to
Home" fishing waters. Held on select Saturdays throughout the Summer, our
"Hooked on Fishing" clinics provide children the opportunity to step away
from TV and Video Games and learn about nature and a great family pastime.
Clinics teach fishing basics, including casting, knot tying, fish
identification, angler etiquette and more. Poles, tackle and bait are
provided. All participants must be accompanied by an adults. No State
Licenses or City Permits required during class hours.

Junior Master Gardener June 21-25

Little sprouts aged 7-12 can explore the world of ecology and horticulture with this hands-on camp sponsored by the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Participants learn about plant life, insects and the environment, including rainforest conservation. Cost: $35 per child. Tuition includes all supplies. To register, call 297-3995.
Performing Arts Day Camp, Four 2-week sessions beginning June 7

Ages: 6-18
Let your little star shine in the OKC Parks & Recreation Department's
Performing Arts Day Camp. Participants learn acting, singing, basic
choreography, set design, stagecraft and more. Each session ends with full
musical performance. Immunization records required.

TOTAL FITNESS CAMP

Ages: 6 and up
Fit and healthy are the mantras at our Total Kids Fitness Camp held at
Sellers Recreation Center, 8301 South Villa. Participants will set fitness
goals, learn nutrition basics and take part in multiple organizes sports and
fitness activities. Cost: $25 per child/week, plus

The Parks Department's signature summer program gives children the opportunity to take part in structured activities in a supervised, outdoor environment. Ages: 6-18
Kids can make a racquet at our dynamic youth tennis clinics at Earlywine and
Oklahahoma City Tennis Centers. Instruction includes stroke basics,
footwork, gamesmanship and more. Eight one-week sessions begin June 7.
Cost: $ 80 per child/per session.
