Play in the Park
Parks & Recreation

The City's Play in the Park program runs from mid-June to late July  from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. It's a free program that offers supervised summertime activities for children over 6. An adult must accompany children under age 6.

It is not a substitute for daycare, but provides a place where kids can participate in adult-supervised, structured activities during summer break.

Sports, crafts, educational games and performing arts are a few of the activities offered by trained staff.

Free lunch and a snack are available for participants at selected sites through the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Summer Feeding Program.

Registration: Parents must register their children on site the morning they start the program. Play in the Park is a come-and-go program, so children are free to leave on their own at any time during the day.
