It is not a substitute for daycare, but provides a place where kids can participate in adult-supervised, structured activities during summer break.
Sports, crafts, educational games and performing arts are a few of the activities offered by trained staff.
Field trips are also available throughout the summer, although they are not part of the free programming. Field trip participants may be charged admission and/or transportation fees.
Free lunch and a snack are available for participants at selected sites through the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Summer Feeding Program.
Registration: Parents must register their children on site the morning they start the program. Children are free to come and go during the day, so parents must instruct them if they are to stay on site.
