Earlywine Tennis Camp - Ongoing through August 7

Beginning and intermediate tennis day-camps for kids 6-17.  One-week sessions begin June 1 and run through August 7.  Beginners 5-8 yrs.: 9 – 10:30 a.m., $60 per child/session.  Older beginners & intermediates:  9:00 – 11 a.m., $75 per child/session.  Classes based on USTA’s “QuickStart” program.  T-shirt and pizza party included.

Hooked on Fishing" FREE Kids Fishing Clinic - Ongoing throughout Summer

Kids 5-15 can learn casting, knot-tying, fish ID and more in this FREE clinic hosted by OKC Parks, the Police Athletic League and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.  Permits not needed during class times.  Equipment provided.  Hours:  8:00 – 10:30 a.m.  Registration required. Learn the basics of caring for adopted parks and public areas.  The class will cover the concepts of public landscaping and tips for success to create a low-maintenance and colorful public space.  Great for church, neighborhood and other volunteer groups!

Performing Arts Day Camp - Ongoing two-week sessions through August 7

Let your little star shine in the OKC Parks & Recreation Department’s Performing Arts Day Camp.  Camp runs 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Monday-Friday.  Four 2-week sessions available.  Sessions end with family-friendly musical performance.  Session I:  June 15-26, Rumplestiltskin;  Session II: June 29-July 10, Sleeping Beauty; Session III: Aladdin, July 13 –24; Session IV: Bye Bye Birdie, July 27 - August 7 (teen show).  Call 841-2412 for more information, or click HERE for registration flyer.
 

Play in the Park - Ongoing through August 7

The Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department’s signature summer program for children 6+ begins June 17 at 26 locations metro-wide. This FREE, outdoor recreation program provides adult-supervised, structured activities for children during the summer months.  Arts, crafts, games, sports and field trips are just part of the fun.  Visit our PLAY IN THE PARK page for a complete list of program locations.

Help your kids develop healthy habits at the OKC Parks' Department's first-ever Total Fitness Camp.  This recreation-based day camp starts Monday, June 6 at Southern Oaks Recreation Center, 400 SW 66. The purpose of the Total Fitness Camp is to provide a fun, supervised program focused on teaching children the benefits of nutrition and exercise. The camp will run 8a.m. - 5p.m. Monday - Friday through July 31. Each one-week session costs $65 and children may join the camp at any time throughout the summer.
