How Are We Doing?

Getting feedback from the community we serve is very important to the Oklahoma City Police Department.  If you do not know the name of the employee(s) involved, please provide details such as the location, date, and time of the incident as well as your contact information.

There are several ways you can contact the Oklahoma City Police Department with your feedback.

If you would like to recognize a job well done by a member of the Oklahoma City Police Department or file a complaint:

  • You can call our dispatch non-emergency number of (405) 231-2121 and ask to have the supervisor of the involved employee(s) contact you.

  • The best way to make a complaint is to request a supervisor at the time of the incident or you can call 9-1-1 to speak to a supervisor.

  • You can send an e-mail letter of appreciation to our Public Information Office by clicking here.

  • You can download and print a request for commendation by clicking here.

If you have questions or concerns regarding a member of the Oklahoma City Police Department:

  • You can call our dispatch non-emergency number of (405) 231-2121 and ask to have the supervisor of the involved employee(s) contact you.  This option will allow a supervisor to respond to your situation in a timely manner.

  • You can send an e-mail to our Public Information Office by clicking here.  Your questions or concerns will be provided to the supervisor of the involved employee(s).

If you want to file a formal written complaint:

  • You can file a formal written complaint on the employee(s) by completing a Formal Citizen Complaint Form.  This form is available at any police facility, City Hall or you can download and print the form by clicking here.  This form must be completed and signed by the complainant.  This form must also be signed by a witness or notary public.

  • You can also call 9-1-1 to report a formal complaint with a supervisor.

If you have other feedback you'd like to provide to the Oklahoma City Police Department:
