I. Call to Order. 3:03 p.m.
Chairman Carl Edwards, Jr. presiding.
Stanley Hupfeld, J. W. Mashburn and Patrick Rooney absent.
II. Approve Minutes of the April 5, 2004 Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Public Schools Trust Special Meeting
APPROVED. Moved by Thompson, seconded by Lopez. Ayes: Chairman Edwards, Lambert, Lopez and Thompson.
III. Financial Reportsa. Approve Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Public Schools Trust Revenue and Obligation Report for February 2004
b. Ratify Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Public Schools Trust PaymentsAPPROVED. Moved by Lambert, seconded by Lopez. Ayes: Chairman Edwards, Lambert, Lopez and Thompson.
IV. Approve Suburban School District Applications for Funding
a. Choctaw Public School District – two buses – $110,600b. Deer Creek Public School District – bus loop – $103,415
c.Oakdale School District – parking lot – $15,145
d. Western Heights Public School District – Hardware – $247,016.43

V. Adopt Resolution Approving Final Plans and Specifications and Authorizing the Secretary to Advertise for Bids to be Received on May 25, 2004; and Authorizing Execution of the Documents by the Chairman for Sales Tax Funded Roof Replacements, OCMAPS Project ES-0003

VI. Adopt Resolution Recommending the Oklahoma City Public Schools Board of Education Approve Change Order No. 1 for Star Spencer High School Improvements, OCMAPS Project EB-0002

VII. Authorize Expenditure of Funds to Purchase Desktop Computers for Oklahoma City Public Schools from Dell, Inc. under State of Oklahoma Contract SW206, for an Estimated Cost of $740,541
AUTHORIZED. Moved by Lambert, seconded by Lopez. Ayes: Chairman Edwards, Lambert, Lopez and Thompson.
VIII. Presentation – Technology Progress Report
Teresa Hockenbury, OCMAPS Trust Technology Manager, presented an update and answered questions about the technology plans for the Oklahoma City Public Schools.
IX. Update/Status of OCMAPS Program – James Couch, General ManagerIn Mr. Couch’s absence, Eric Wenger, OCMAPS Program Manager, explained about the Mayor’s MAPS for Kids Roundtable scheduled for Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. at the Education Center at the Oklahoma City Zoo. He said the Trustees would be receiving notices this week about it.
He then told about the Douglass High School pre-work meeting. Plans are still underway for a groundbreaking ceremony on May 10th. He said interviews were conducted with six firms for Gatewood, Horace Mann and Wilson Elementary Schools. Recommendations for architects would be scheduled at an upcoming meeting.
X. Program Consultant Update – Facility Program Management, Inc.
a. Local Business Utilization Report – First Quarter
Gregg Bohler of The Facility Group explained the LBU update for the first quarter of 2004.
