(September 13, 2011) - Residents interested in learning how effectively
the City is delivering services to them can log on to
www.okc.gov and read Oklahoma City’s
2011
Performance Report.
The 20-page document highlights Oklahoma City’s performance and is
organized by City Council’s nine priorities:
“This report is our way of demonstrating city government accountability
in how we effectively deliver services that are funded by your tax dollars,”
City Manager Jim Couch said.
Residents have the opportunity to complete an
online survey at the end of the report to let City staff know their
thoughts on the readability of the report and the usefulness of the
information.
The City unveiled an associated
web application in August that lets residents review over 1,000
performance measures relating to city services. Performance data is
tracked throughout the year by each City department and comes from multiple
sources, including surveys and department reports.
Those without access to the internet can call (405) 297-2257 and have a
copy of the performance report mailed to them.
