Public invited to Project 180 meeting as construction moves east

(July 12, 2011) - Downtown workers, business owners and stakeholders are invited to attend one of two public meetings on new Project 180 construction that begins mid July on Hudson from Park to Reno; Sheridan from Walker to E.K. Gaylord and Robinson from Park to Sheridan.

The meetings will be held at noon and 6 p.m. on July 21 on the third floor of City Hall, 200 N Walker.  Both meetings will cover the same information.

The improvements are being paid for through Tax Increment Financing (TIF) from construction of the Devon Tower ($115 million) and General Obligation Bonds passed in the 2007 bond election ($24,585,000).
