Two intersections on North May Ave to close temporarily

(October 26, 2010) - A road widening project at the intersection of NW 178th Street and North May Avenue will force the street’s closure at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 29.  The street will reopen on Saturday morning, October 30.

The same project will close the intersection of NW 192nd Street and North May Avenue at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 30.  The street will reopen on Sunday morning, October 31.

Travelers are advised to find alternate routes.

The road work is part of the $3,668,242.14 widening project being funded from the 2007 General Obligation Bond Authorization.
