WHAT:
City and Metropolitan Library System (MLS) officials will break
ground on the Northwest Library, a new $8 million facility.
Once built, the library will be the first LEED Silver certified
library in Oklahoma.
Speakers include Mayor Mick Cornett, Ward 8 Councilman Patrick Ryan, MLS Chair Carolyn Willis and Donna Morris, MLS Executive Director.
The library’s construction is being funded through the 2000 and 2007 General Obligation Bonds and MLS Commission funds.
