“Wizard of Oz” finishes Gardens’ “Screen on the Green” season

(October 5, 2009) - Take a trip down the yellow brick road on Sunday, October 11 when the Myriad Gardens Foundation presents “The Wizard of Oz.”

The family classic starring screen legend Judy Garland will start at 7:30 p.m. on the activity plaza at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Admission is free.  This is the last screening in the Foundation’s inaugural “Screen on the Green” series of films.

Event sponsors include Sonic-America’s Drive-In, and Cox Communications.

The Myriad Gardens Foundation provides capital and educational support to the Gardens through membership and special fundraising projects.
