Construction begins next week on West Britton Road

(July 30, 2009) - Road construction will begin early next week on West Britton Road from Council Road to County Line Road. Contractors are reconstructing and expanding the road to four lanes and installing a traffic signal at the intersection of West Britton Road at Council Road.

The road will remain open to through and local traffic.  The project should be completed by August 2010.

The cost for this project is $3 million. Funding for the project comes from the 2000 General Obligation Bond Authorization.
