(July 9, 2009) - “Here’s looking at you, kid.” Five of filmdom’s most famous words will hit the great outdoors as the Myriad Gardens Foundation presents “Casablanca,” Sunday, July 19 at 9:00 p.m. The screening will take place on the Gardens’ Activity Plaza, adjacent to the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory, and will follow immediately after the OKC Arts Council’s Sunday Twilight Concert. Admission is FREE.
A perennial favorite among movie fans worldwide, “Casablanca” represents the second of three films in the Myriad Gardens Foundation’s inaugural Screen on the Green program. The next screening is the family classic “The Wizard of Oz,” scheduled for October 11. Event sponsors include Sonic-America’s Drive-In, and Cox Communications.
The Myriad Gardens Foundation provides capital and educational support to the Gardens through membership and special fund-raising projects.
