(July 6, 2009) - Relief from high
temperatures, recent rainfall and decreased water use have allowed the City
of Oklahoma City to lift all outdoor-watering restrictions and voluntary
conservation efforts. This
includes the outdoor watering ban that was temporarily placed on southwest
Oklahoma City residents on Saturday, July 4.
However, citizens are asked to continue efforts to use water wisely when temperatures return to triple digits. Best-watering practices will help all citizens maintain adequate water pressure.
