Micro surfacing road projects - Aug 3-7
(July 30, 2009) - Motorists may experience lane closures on City streets during their morning drive over the next few months due to the heat. City street crews, who normally avoid micro surfacing streets during rush hour, are now beginning this work as early as 6:30 a.m.
Rainy weather delayed work on last week’s micro surfacing projects. The same three streets are scheduled for micro surfacing next week:
- SW 59th from Santa Fe to Western
- SW 59th from Western to
Pennsylvania
- Western from SW 44th to SW
59th
The lanes will be reopened each day before the afternoon rush. Weekly updates will be provided throughout the summer.
