City’s Macklanburg Pool to open Friday, July 3

(July 1, 2009) - The Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, is opening Macklanburg Pool, 11700 N Stratford Drive, at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3. 

Regular hours for the pool are 12:30 – 5 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday.  The pool will close for the season on August 8 in keeping with the City’s regular schedule for standard pools.  Admission is FREE.

REGULATIONS

Macklanburg Pool joins eight other pools and family aquatics centers currently under operation by the Parks & Recreation Department.

Pools and Family Aquatics Centers:

Hours:  Noon-9 p.m. through August 16, weekends only through Sept. 7
Admission: $5 per person, $3 per person after 6 p.m.
Season passes also available: $50 individual; $150 family of 4
Morning swim lessons available.
