WHAT:
Forty trees will be planted following the official groundbreaking ceremony at Lake Hefner tomorrow thanks to a donation from The Friends of Lake Hefner, Oklahoma City Beautiful and The Oklahoma Tree Bank Foundation. In all, 240 trees will be planted and cared for by the three organizations over a three-year period as part of the East Shore Tree Restoration Project.
The tree planting project is funded by a grant through the Margaret Annis Boys Trust at Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

Near the Children's Playground parking lot at the south end of East Lake Hefner Drive. Take East Lake Hefner Drive, south from Britton Road. Go past the East Wharf restaurants and Oklahoma City Boat Club.
