(February 20, 2008) - Ward 7 residents are invited to a town hall meeting hosted by Councilman Ronald Skip Kelly at 6:30 p.m. on February 28. The meeting will be held in the Big Dipper room at Metro Tech Springlake Campus, 1900 Springlake Drive.
Councilman Kelly will discuss the top five issues facing Ward 7 based on survey responses from area neighborhood associations and ministers. Topics will include crime, infrastructure, parks, recreation, home rehabilitation and redevelopment. City staff will provide information and answer questions.
“I can’t tell you how honored I feel to serve Ward 7 on City Council. As a newly elected official, I intend to maintain close communications with constituents and believe that each resident’s voice is important,” Councilman Kelly said.
