Work to begin on Shields Boulevard over the Oklahoma River; 2/18

(February 12, 2008) - Shields Boulevard from SW 6th to SW 29th will close for one year on February 18 in conjunction with the I-40 relocation project administered by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT).

Drivers will need to find an alternate route during the closure.

Robinson Avenue between SW 18th and SW 23rd is also closed in conjunction with ODOT’s I-40 relocation project.  When the bridge reopens in mid March it can be used as a detour for Shields Boulevard.
