Thanksgiving holiday affects trash service

(November 20, 2007) - There will be no “big blue” refuse and recycling collection service in Oklahoma City on Thanksgiving Day.  The makeup day for trash service is Saturday, November 24.  Carts and recycling bins should be on the curb by 6 a.m.  Citizens with regular trash service on Friday, November 23, should also have their carts and bins to the curb by 6 a.m.  Oklahoma City solid waste management crews will be observing the holiday with family and friends.
