Public meeting planned for Meridian Avenue Corridor; 11/15

(November 6, 2007) - People affected by street construction along Meridian Avenue from the Oklahoma River to SW 29 are invited to attend a come-and-go public meeting on November 15 from 4:30 – 6 p.m. at the Clarion Meridian Hotel and Convention Center, 737 S Meridian Avenue.

Improvements to be addressed in the Meridian Avenue Improvement Project include pavement reconstruction, new sidewalks, a pedestrian bridge, landscaping and new traffic signals.

“This meeting is particularly important to business owners and tenants that frequently travel along Meridian Avenue,” said Project Manager Daniel Witthuhn.

The $11.6 million beautification project is being financed through both federal and local funds.  For more information, call 297-2292.
