Traffic signal changes announced in preparation for Centennial Parade

(October 8, 2007) - In preparation for the centennial parade, traffic signals at 14 intersections in downtown Oklahoma City will be removed or turned to make way for parade balloons.

A total of 23 mast arms will be modified and replaced with stop signs.

The changes will begin on Thursday, October 11, and will be completed on Friday, October 12.  The signals will be restored to normal operation on October 16.

The following 14 intersections’ signal masts will be turned or removed:

Sheridan & Hudson

Sheridan & Robinson

Reno & Robinson

Ford Center & Reno
