(October 10, 2006) – A public hearing on a City/State street improvement project for Meridian Avenue will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the City’s Central Maintenance Facility, SW 15 & Portland, Building 3.
The City and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will present a street improvement plan that consists of pavement reconstruction, new sidewalks, landscaping and traffic signals along approximately one mile of Meridian Avenue between the Oklahoma River and Reno Avenue.
The hearing gives residents, business and property owners a chance to view the plans and ask questions about the improvements. In addition to discussion, the meeting includes brief presentations from the City and ODOT staff and Allen Contracting, Inc., the contractor the City hired to work on the project.
