(August 17, 2006) – The City of Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Public Schools Trust are working to complete the widening and signalization of NW 122 and N. Portland Avenue near the new John Marshall High School.
Until the project is complete, the contractor will be closing traffic lanes on NW 122 from 8 a.m. until 1:45 and from 3 p.m. until the end of each work day. Also, access to NW 122 from N. Portland will be periodically closed during these times. This temporary traffic control is expected to last until September 8, 2006.
To help the flow of traffic until the project is complete, parents and students should enter from the south, taking Hefner Road to N. Portland.
The City asks that parents and students follow posted signs so that the contractor can finish the project in a safe and timely matter.
