High-traffic stretch of S. Pennsylvania to close for two weeks

(June 16, 2006) – South Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed for two weeks beginning Monday, June 19 for work on the railroad crossing between SW 15 and SW 25. This work is being done in preparation for the relocation of the I-40 Crosstown Expressway.

Northbound traffic will be detoured at SW 25 to Westwood Boulevard and then back to Pennsylvania Avenue at SW 15.

Southbound traffic will be detoured at SW 15 to Agnew Avenue and then back to Pennsylvania Avenue at SW 25.

Pennsylvania will be closed after 9 a.m. on June 19 to allow morning rush hour traffic to pass.
