Mayor receives recognition from National League of Cities

(April 14, 2006) – The National League of Cities Leadership Training Institute has given Mayor Mick Cornett its Gold Certificate for Achievement in Leadership, recognizing ‘excellence and innovation in leadership as a local city official.’

The certificate was presented Wednesday at an awards ceremony and luncheon in Washington, DC.

The Gold Certificate is the third of four levels of recognition awarded for completion of Leadership Institute programs.
