(April 7, 2006) – Oklahoma City residents can safely dispose of computers and computer accessories, ammunition and tires (but not rims or wheels) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at the State Fairgrounds.
This special collection event is free for City residents. Bring a City water utility bill as proof of residency.
Enter the fairgrounds from N May Avenue through Gate 3 on Gordon Cooper Blvd.
You can get rid of other household hazardous waste year-round at the City's free state-of-the-art Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility at SW 15 and Portland. The drive-through building is open from 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Proof of residency is required.
