Questions and answers about the Citizen service survey

How were people chosen to take this survey?

The respondents were chosen at random by ETC Institute, Inc., the survey firm the City hired for this project. The names were selected to allow for true representation of all City residents.

I received a survey in the mail, but it was addressed to someone who doesn't live here anymore.

The respondents were chosen from a database based on U.S. Postal Service records. If you received a survey addressed to a former resident at your address, we encourage you to complete it and return it in the self-address envelope.

Are my answers confidential?

Yes. Your completed questionnaire is processed by the independent survey firm, ETC Institute, Inc. No one from the City sees your responses.

I haven't received a survey. Why?

If you did not receive the recorded phone call from Mayor Mick Cornett, you were not selected for the survey.

If you did receive the phone call, but did not receive a survey within a week after that, call the Action Center at 297-2535 to have a survey mailed to you.

When will I see the results of the survey?

The results will be reported to City Council in January and made public then.
