May 22, 2002 Dive-In Movies Now Showing at a Pool Near YouKids can hang out on a raft under the stars and watch their favorite movie on a waterproof screen when they attend a series of Dive-In Movies offered by the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department. Movies will begin at 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and 7:30 p.m. on weekends. Admission is $4 at Earlywine Leisure Pool and $3 at all other pools. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. “We’ve jazzed up one of America’s favorite pastimes by adding water and a raft. This is our sixth year in a row to offer Dive-In movies - everybody seems to love the idea of watching a movie outdoors,” Aquatic Manager Larry Kelly said. Movies will be shown on the following dates: “Hook” June 12 at Minnis Pool “Men In Black” June 26 at Carson Pool “Atlantis” July 12 at Minnis Lakeview Pool “U-571” July 26 at Carson Pool
