Dive-In Movies Now Showing at a Pool Near You

Kids can hang out on a raft under the stars and watch their favorite movie on a waterproof screen when they attend a series of Dive-In Movies offered by the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department.

Movies will begin at 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and 7:30 p.m. on weekends. Admission is $4 at Earlywine Leisure Pool and $3 at all other pools. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

“We’ve jazzed up one of America’s favorite pastimes by adding water and a raft. This is our sixth year in a row to offer Dive-In movies - everybody seems to love the idea of watching a movie outdoors,” Aquatic Manager Larry Kelly said.

Movies will be shown on the following dates:

“Hook” June 12 at Minnis Pool
June 13 at Schilling Pool
June 14 at Will Rogers Pool
June 15 at Earlywine Pool
June 16 at Woodson Pool

“Men In Black” June 26 at Carson Pool
June 27 at Schilling Pool
June 28 at Will Rogers Pool
June 29 at Earlywine Pool
June 30 at Northeast Pool

“Atlantis” July 12 at Minnis Lakeview Pool
July 13 at Schilling Pool
July 14 at Will Rogers Pool
July 15 at Earlywine Pool
July 16 at Woodson Pool

“U-571” July 26 at Carson Pool
July 27 at Schilling Pool
July 28 at Will Rogers Pool
July 29 at Earlywine Pool
