Fishing and boating are available at all three reservoirs. Water skiing and jetskiing are enjoyed at Lake Draper, which is our largest lake. State fishing license and City fishing permit required unless exempt. Boating permit also required.
Permits for all lake-related activities are available through designated vendors across the OKC Metro, and also at the Lake Draper concession area, which stocks fishing and picnic supplies. For a complete list of vendors, please click here.
The Police Department's Lake Patrol provides security and enforces permits and lake reservation regulations.

In addition, fishing is available at several neighborhood lakes in the Parks Department's Close to Home program.
"Close to Home" fishing waters are bodies of water designated under a cooperative intensive fisheries management program between Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. These waters include:

The City offers multiple fishing docks and piers accessible to persons using wheelchairs or other mobility devices. They are conveniently located near paved areas and HC-accessible parking.Accessibility to floating docks is dependent upon water pool levels.
