Talking to the Council
City Council

Citizens can address the Council during public hearings or at the end of Council meetings.

Public hearings are held on matters such as zoning decisions, annexations, dilapidated buildings, the annual budget, rate and fee schedules, and service policies. The Mayor will invite comments.

To have your name and topic listed on the agenda, call the City Clerk's Office, 405 297-2397, before 4 p.m. Tuesday, the week before the meeting.

Depending on the Council meeting schedule the, deadline for being listed on the Council Agenda is subject to change.

Time is provided at the end of the Council meeting when citizens not listed on the agenda can speak. If you would like to speak during "Citizens to be Heard," fill out a form at the Council Chamber door. When the Mayor calls your name, go to the podium and give your name and address. Limit your remarks to three minutes.
