Mr. McAtee said he saw an article in the Oklahoman about Police coverage and safety in Bricktown.  He said his family goes to Bricktown often and has never observed any crime or other problems.  Mr. McAtee said Bricktown is family friendly and encouraged people to continue to patronize the businesses there.

Mr. Foshee agreed with Mr. McAtee saying he is enthused about the way Bricktown turned out and considers it a crowning achievement for Oklahoma City.

Mr. Couch corrected an error made earlier.  It was reported that the International Association of Firefighters filed a lawsuit regarding the Public Safety Sales Tax but it was actually individual firefighters who filed that particular lawsuit.

Ms. Johnson thanked everyone for participating in Bricktown events.  She said Captain McCool is diligent about keeping Bricktown safe.  She said the atmosphere at Bricktown is different from 1:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. because of the nightclubs.  Ms. Johnson said that type of activity comes with having nightclubs.  She said most families arenÕt in Bricktown during those hours.

Ms. Johnson said she attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Douglass High School.  She said she is encouraged by the investment Oklahoma City is making in its young people.  Ms. Johnson thanked Mayor Cornett for the remarks he made at the ceremony.

Mr. Liebmann said there was an article printed in a recent issue of Southern Living about downtown Oklahoma City and Bricktown.  He said the article was very favorable and he encouraged everyone to read it.
