Meg Salyer
Ward 6 City Council
The newly elected Ward 6 City Councilperson, Meg Salyer, will take her official oath of office in the City Hall Council Chamber at 11 a.m. on November 10. She will begin her Council responsibilities at that time.
Salyer’s ceremonial oath will take place during her first City Council meeting on November 18.
Salyer is the owner of Accel Financial Staffing and is a longtime civic leader. She served as the first woman president of the Downtown Rotary, a Trustee of the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools and a member of St. Anthony Hospital’s board. Salyer has served on several City committees and commissions over the years. She most recently served on the Oklahoma City Economic Development Trust for the City.
She received a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from
Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts and studied
International Studies at Franklin College in Switzerland.
