City of Oklahoma City

The City Clerk maintains all official City papers, records, public documents, minutes and files of the City Council, Boards, Trusts and Commissions; and publishes ordinances, notices, agendas and other public documents.

The City Clerk keeps the minutes of Council proceedings and with the Mayor signs and attests all ordinances and resolutions and is the official custodian of the City Seal.

The City Clerk also receives all lawsuits, protests, appeals, claims and bids; distributes public improvement plans; maintains City retirement records and coordinates City elections.

City Clerk, GIS offer new Land Document Locator service

City Clerk Frances Kersey and the Geographic Information Systems Division of Information Technology have created the Land Document Locator, which allows users to retrieve many
City Clerk documents through a map-driven GIS interface.
