A new budget revenue summary was created for the
FY 2003-2004 budget to include adjustments for donations provided for
the
operation
of five junior pools. 
Several organizations including the Musgrave-Pennington Neighborhood Association, the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 157, Cox Communications, Sonic, the Board of County Commissioners of Oklahoma County and an anonymous donor provided donations to the City for the operation of five shallow-depth pools.
The five pools were selected based on the location and the condition of the pools.
The donations were received in a Special Purpose Fund for the Parks and Recreation Department and will be transferred to the General Fund as expenditures are made for the operation of the pools.
Adjustments have been made to the FY 2003-2004 budget in the General Fund and the Special Purpose Fund to provide for the operation of the five shallow-depth pools.
Expenditures for the program will be divided between the Parks and Recreation Department for the operation of the pools and the General Services Department for the maintenance of the pools.
