Help us care for our shelter pets by donating to the City's Animal Welfare Division. You can demonstrate your compassion
by using a variety of donation accounts that directly helps shelter pets and other animals. Donations are tax deductible
and can be itemized as a charitable contribution on your tax return.
You choose how your donations help our animals:

Operating Cost: This is one of our greatest needs. Operating donations help fill the needs of animals other accounts
don’t pay for.

Adoption Events: From banners to bandannas, this fund helps raise community awareness about the available animals in our care.

Healing Hearts: Help heal our dogs’ broken hearts by donating to the treatment of heartworm-positive shelter dogs.

Puppy Express: Help us send puppies and dogs to other shelters for adoption.

Spay/Neuter: Donating helps us increase the number of pets and feral cats that are spayed and neutered.

Angel Fund: Save an injured or sick shelter pet by helping us pay for orthopedic surgeries or other procedures
we can’t perform in our shelter clinic.

Disaster Relief: Help us help animals when disasters occur. Donating to the Disaster Relief Fund helps us with the rescue,
sheltering and treatment of animals in the event of a disaster. Funds also help train volunteers to provide life-saving tasks
for animals rescued during disaster response and recovery.

Enrichment: Make our pets have happy tails by providing beds, toys, furniture and more.

Pet Food Bank: Your donations will help animals stay in their homes when owners face short-term financial crises.
We accept food and litter donations.

Vaccinations: With your help we can help prevent the spread of contagious diseases by vaccinating animals coming into the shelter.

Animal Welfare: This fund is used to support future shelter renovations, landscaping and construction projects, and to buy
large items like run-in barns and equipment.
