Incident #12-079951

Victim:  Shaver, Vertis Lavaill  (B/M, DOB: 12/22/75)

Arrested:  Marshall, Tiara Marie  (B/F, DOB: 9/17/85)

On 9/22/12 at 11:55 a.m., police responded to 3213 N. Fonshill regarding a shooting.  When officers arrived they discovered that the victim had been transported away by private vehicle.  The victim ultimately ended up at OU Medical Center where he died. 

Investigators believe that Vertis Shaver and Tiara Marshall, who live together, got into a physical altercation and Ms. Marshall shot Mr. Shaver, fatally wounding him.

Investigators interviewed Ms. Marshall at Police Headquarters.  At the conclusion of that interview she was booked in to the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of murder in the first degree.
