Spraygrounds, Family Aquatic Centers Open Saturday, May 23
OKC Aquatics LogoOur 17 spraygrounds and two Family Aquatic Centers open to the public on Saturday, May 23, just in time for the Memorial Day holiday. Season passes and swim lesson sign-up begin on May 20 at the Earlywine and Will Rogers Family Aquatic Centers.

There's no shortage of family fun at the OKC Parks & Recreation Department's annual Summer Kick-Off. With old-fashioned carnival games, face painting, "touch-a-truck" displays from the OKC Police, Fire and grounds maintenance departments, plus performing arts and fitness activities, we'll have something for everyone in the family.

Bring a bathing suit and take part in swim evaluations at the Family Aquatic Center.

Plus, the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Department will be on hand with several pets up for adoption.

The Kick-Off is FREE
Kidathlon Fee: $30 and includes a t-shirt

Summer Camps IconSummer Day Camps! We've gathered up all of our summer day camps and have served them up in one single page for you to see. From gardening to performing arts, sports, nature and general recreation, we've got Summer wrapped up for every kid in the family.



We're Hiring! IconWE'RE HIRING! The Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department is now hiring for seasonal part-time positions in our Aquatics, Grounds Maintenance and Recreation divisions.

Jobs currently available include lifeguards (lifeguard certification required), recreation leaders, cashiers, grounds maintenance workers, mowers, tractor drivers and equipment technicians.
